What part of the body of Christ are you? Do you know what assignment you may have in the church? Do you know what talents that you have been given? Have you seen the Holy Spirit at work in yourself or in others?  What part of the body of Christ are you?  Do you know what assignment you may have in the church?  Do you know what talents that you have been given?  Have you seen the Holy Spirit at work in yourself or in others?

This lesson has been prepared so that we, the members of the church, can have a better understanding of how church members should work together.  We were never created to live isolated from other parts of the body (fellow believers).  On the contrary, God designed us to function with other parts to perform a function that ultimately benefits the body as a whole.   Simply put, we need each other.  Within a gathering of believers, God will link certain individuals together based on various criteria so that they can work together to accomplish what they never could do on their own.  As each part (ie. limb) functions properly, the body system (local church) thrives.
